Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection
process for IB JIO-II/Tech involves three distinct tiers:
1. Tier-I: Online Exam (100 Marks)
o Description: An online exam
with 100 objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
o Subjects: Questions will be based
on General Mental Ability (25%) and a combination of subjects
relevant to the essential qualifications (75%).
o Marks: 100.
o Time Duration: 2 hours.
o Negative Marking: There is a negative
marking of 1/4th of a mark for each wrong answer. Questions marked
"Mark for Review" will not be evaluated.
o Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted
for the Skill Test and Personal Interview based on their Tier-I
performance, with the number of shortlisted candidates being 5 times
the number of vacancies.
o Cut-off marks for various categories
will be provided and can vary.
2. Tier-II: Practical-based & Technical Skill Test (30 Marks)
o Description: A practical-based and
technical Skill Test that is commensurate with the job profile.
o Marks: 30.
3. Tier-III: Interview/Personality Test (20 Marks)
o Description: An Interview/Personality
Test to assess suitability for the role.
o Marks: 20.
Resolution of Tie Cases: In case of a tie in combined scores, the
following criteria will be applied in order: Marks in Tier-I, Marks in Tier-II,
Marks in Tier-III, Date of birth (older candidates placed higher), and
Alphabetical order of names (starting with the first name).
Final Selection: Final selection is subject to Character & Antecedent
verification and a medical examination. The appointment is
