Eligibility
Criteria & Pay Scales
The recruitment covers a wide range of
seniority, with pay scales ranging from Level 7 to Level 14 as per the
7th CPC.
- Principal SAS Officer (Level 14): Requires a master's degree in physical education or sports science (minimum 60% marks) and 15 years of relevant experience.
- Superintending Engineer (Level 13): Open to officers from Central/State PWD, PSUs,
or autonomous bodies with prescribed qualifications.
- Assistant Registrar & Assistant Engineer: Open to officers from government departments, research institutes, or institutes of national importance holding
analogous posts.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for all advertised posts is 56 years.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will follow the NIT
Statutes and DoPT Rules. The process generally includes:
1. Shortlisting based on eligibility and experience.
2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview (depending on
