- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: Requires M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc (Engg) (or equivalent) with a minimum 60% aggregate,
alongside the pre-eligibility qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) (or
equivalent) with a minimum 65% aggregate.
- Cook, Fireman ‘A’, Light
Vehicle Driver ‘A’:
Requires a pass in SSLC/SSC/matric/10th Std. Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’
also requires a valid LVD licence and 3 years’ experience.
- Nurse-B: Requires a First Class
Diploma in Nursing (not less than three years) registered with the
respective State Nursing Council.
Understanding the Selection Process
The selection methodology

Scientist/Engineer
‘SC’: Selection involves a written test and interview. Weightage is split equally: 50% for the written test marks and 50% for the interview marks. Candidates are shortlisted for the
interview, typically in a 1:5 ratio.

Technical
Assistant/Scientific Assistant/Library Assistant ‘A’/Technician ‘B’/Draughtsman ‘B’: Selection
is based on a written test, followed by a skill test. Shortlisting for
the skill test is done based on written test performance, category-wise, in a
1:5 ratio.
3. Nurse ‘B’,
Radiographer-A & Cook: Selection
involves a written test and a skill test. The Skill Test is purely on a
‘go-no-go’ basis (qualifying only), and the final selection is determined
solely by the marks obtained in the Written Test.
4.
Fireman ‘A’: Selection involves a Written Test, a Physical
Efficiency Test (PET), and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The PET is
‘go-no-go’. The final selection is based on written test marks.
5.
Light
Vehicle Driver ‘A’: Selection
involves a written test and a skill test, where the skill test is ‘go-no-go’.
