Eligibility
Criteria for SSC Delhi Police Constable 2025
Candidates must meet specific eligibility
requirements concerning nationality, education, age limit, and essential requirements to apply for the SSC Delhi Police Constable 2025 exam.
1. Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025)
The candidate must be between 18 and
25 years old. Candidates should have been born no earlier than
02-07-2000 and no later than 01-07-2007.
Age relaxation in the upper age limit is
provided for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: Up to 5 years.
- OBC:
Up to 3 years.
- Departmental candidates of Delhi Police (UR) may
receive relaxation up to 40 years.
2. Educational Qualification (as on
21/10/2025)
Candidates must have passed 10+2
(Senior Secondary) from any recognised school board.
- A relaxation is permitted, allowing candidates to
be only 11th pass, specifically for bandsmen, buglers, mounted
constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc., of Delhi Police only, and sons
of serving, deceased, or retired police personnel, including Multi-Tasking
Staff of Delhi Police.
3. Essential Requirement (Only for
Male Candidates)
Male candidates applying for Const. (Exe.)
must possess a valid driving licence for LMV (motorcycle or car)
as of the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). A
learner’s licence is not acceptable.

Constable 2025 Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The recruitment process consists of two
primary stages, followed by document verification and a medical examination:
1. Online Computer-Based Examination (CBE): 100 Marks.
2. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT): Qualifying in nature.
3. Document Verification (DV).
4. Medical Examination.
Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
The CBE is an objective-type paper comprising
100 questions carrying 100 marks. The exam is conducted in both Hindi and
English, with a total duration of 90 minutes (one and a half
hours).

for each incorrect answer. To be eligible for shortlisting for the physical test, general category candidates must secure 35% marks, SC/ST/OBC/EWS
