4. Eligibility
Criteria (Age & Qualification) {#eligibility}
To be eligible for the HPCL Graduate
Apprentice programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Age Limit (as of 02/03/2026): 18 to 25 years.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBD-NC, and 10 years for PwBD.
- Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in the relevant
discipline.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate for UR/OBC-NC; 50% for
SC/ST/PwBD.
- Passing Year: Candidates must have completed their degree on
or after 01 April 2023.
- NATS Registration: Candidates must be registered on the NATS 2.0
Portal.
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible.
5. Monthly
Stipend & Benefits {#stipend}
Selected trainees will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹25,000.
- HPCL Contribution: ₹20,500
- Government of India (DBT): ₹4,500.
6. Selection
Process: No Exam, No Interview {#selection}
The selection process is transparent and
straightforward:
1. Merit List: Prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying
engineering examination.
2. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio for document verification.
3. Final Steps: After verification, candidates must undergo a medical fitness test and police verification, followed by the acceptance of a tripartite contract on
the NATS portal.
