Technology Surat (IIIT Surat), an Institute of National Importance
established under the Act of Parliament 2017, has released a notification
(Advertisement No. – IIITS/RF/2025-26/01) inviting applications for direct
recruitment of Assistant Professors. This is a fantastic opportunity for

institute in various engineering, mathematics, science, and other departments.
A total of 21 faculty posts are available for assistant professor positions. Interested candidates must

The 21 total vacancies are distributed as
follows: SC-03, ST-01, OBC-07, EWS-03, and UR-07. Selected candidates will be
placed in Kamrej, Surat, Gujarat.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in a
relevant discipline. Furthermore, candidates must have secured a first
class at both the undergraduate level (B.Tech/BE) and the postgraduate
level (M.Tech/ME).
Specific academic backgrounds mentioned
include a B.Sc./B.S. in Mathematics/Mathematics and Computing or a B.Tech. in
Mathematics and Computing, and an M.Sc./M.S./M.Tech. in Mathematics/Mathematics
and Computing/Computational Mathematics or a relevant discipline.
Essential Experience
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Nil experience is required.
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Candidates need either 3 years of
experience after a Ph.D. or 6 years of total teaching and
research experience.

The application fee must be paid via UPI
or NEFT.
- ₹ 2000/- for UR/OBC/EWS category candidates.
- No fee (NIL) for SC / ST / PwDs / female candidates.
Selection Process
The selection procedure involves multiple
stages:
1. Scrutiny of applications and shortlisting.
2. Written Test (also referred to as Screening Test/Presentation/Interview).
3. Demo / Interview.
4. Document Verification.

Application Form.
2. Physical Submission: Apply in the prescribed application format. The duly
filled application, along with all supporting documents, must be sent to the
official address only by speed post, courier, or registered AD.
