Educational Qualification and Typing
Proficiency
To be eligible for the 509 posts of Head
Constable (Ministerial) in Delhi Police, candidates must meet the following
criteria:
1. Education:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Senior Secondary) Exam
or possess equivalent eligibility from any recognized Board/Institutions in
India.
2. Typing Speed: Candidates must possess a minimum typing speed of 30 words per
minute (w.p.m.) in English OR 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on a
computer.
Age Limit
The age limit for applicants is 18 to
25 years as of 01.07.2025. Age relaxation is
available for specific categories, including 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for
OBC, and 10 years for PwBD.

Salary and Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary
according to Pay Level-04, with a pay scale ranging from ₹25,500/-
to ₹81,100/- Per Month. Allowances such as HRA, DA, TA, and other
allowances will be provided as per Government Norms.
Selection Process
and Examination Details
The selection process for the SSC Delhi
Police Head Constable (Ministerial) Recruitment 2025 involves four distinct
phases:
1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): 100 Marks.
2. Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Qualifying.
3. Typing Test on Computer: 25 Marks.
4. Computer (Formatting) Test: Qualifying.
Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
Pattern
The CBE will be an Objective-Type
Multiple-Choice Paper consisting of 100 questions for 100 marks. The
total time duration for the exam is 90 minutes. Note that
there is a Negative Marking of 1/4 (0.25) for each wrong
answer.
