🎯 Eligibility Criteria for BSF Sports Quota Recruitment 2025
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed matriculation
(10th class) or equivalent from a recognised board.
2. Age Limit & Relaxation
The age limit for Constable (GD) is 18
to 23 years as of 01 August 2025.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates
receive 5 years of relaxation, and OBC (NCL) candidates
receive 3 years of relaxation.
3. Sports Achievements (Mandatory)
Applicants must be meritorious sportspersons
who have either participated in or won medals in national or
international-level competitions. These competitions must be recognised by the
Indian Olympic Association (IOA) or their respective sports federations.
- The relevant achievements must have been attained
between 04/11/2023 and 04/11/2025.
4. Physical Standards
The selection process includes a Physical
Standard Test (PST).
- Height: Male 170 cm, Female 157 cm (relaxations
apply).
- Chest (Male): 80 cm with a mandatory 5 cm
expansion.
