Candidates must possess relevant educational qualifications from recognised institutes as of May 1, 2026.

Mining: Bachelor's degree in mining engineering. (E4 requires a first-class mine manager's certificate).
Electrical/Mechanical/Civil: Bachelor's degree in the respective engineering branch.
Geology: Postgraduate degree in geology or applied geology.
Finance: Must have passed the Final Examination of ICAI (CA) or ICMAI (CMA).
HR: Bachelor's Degree with MBA (Personnel Management) or PG Degree/Diploma in Social Work/Personnel Management.
Medical: MBBS with PG Diploma or PG Degree/MS/MD/DNB.
Systems: Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or MCA.

7. The Selection Process: 100% Interview-Based

Unlike many other government jobs, the HCL executive recruitment is based on a personal interview (PI) carrying 100% weightage.

Shortlisting Criteria: If the number of applications is high, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on:

1. Additional Experience: 1 mark for every completed year beyond the minimum requirement.

2. Higher Qualification: 1 mark for each relevant higher qualification (max. 2 marks).

Interview Ratio:
